What's new...

Not a whole lot. My daughter's first birthday is tomorrow. I probably should have thrown her a big party with friends and family but, after I spend tons of money on food and decorations I figure that money can go towards nicer things for her. Besides I'm not too sure many people (family) remember it's her birthday. I hate reminding people it's almost like begging for a gift. At least my brother and his family sent a gift without being told. Oh well, when she gets older she can have parties and sleepovers. Maybe she won't be as antisocial and I am. Anyhoo, thanks for reading.

Kudos

I am pleasantly surprised by the Twilight series. I thought it wouldn't hold up against Night Watch as far as me enjoying it. I zipped through the first book and have gotten half way through the second. Now don't get me wrong Night Watch is superior in many ways but Twilight has that romantic side that The Watch Series does not. I've always gone for the books with twisted plots and complicated characters but this is a nice easy read. I've welcomed the change in pace. Again Kudos to the author.

Pregnant again!

I just found out yesterday that I'm pregnant again. I'm happy but, I'm worried about our financial situation. I know in the end everything will be alright, it always is. I guess a little worry helps keep my in check. My husband and I just had a little girl about a year ago. She is the light in our lives. To make my husband happy I pray this one is a boy though because after this NO MORE!!!! Having kids is great, don't get me wrong but I don't want to be a baby factory. I hardly got my body back after the first one and it's about to be stretched out again. RRRRRR

Well to spread the joy that this family is currently feeling my friend and I decided to have a sale in our shops if you are interested. Go to http://www.shambeeandjak.etsy.com or http://www.downtownmonsters.etsy.com Everything is going for 25% off the list price. In the message to seller box write "Congrats" and we'll refund the discount.

Wish me luck!!!!

I just finished watching Twilight and was surprised to find that it wasn't all that bad. I was a bit skeptical at first thinking it would be just another teeny bopper movie. Although I found the romance to be a lot like Sookie and Bill it was not unbearable to watch. Kudos to the writer of the book and the crew that worked on the film. I'll be purchasing the book soon to see the differences between the two mediums. As with most adaptations the book is always more telling but that is something the film viewers must overlook. Just as with Night Watch, the books are awesome and give the reader much more insight into the characters but the movie gives you a different perspective. I'll blog later to let you know what I think of the Twilight books.

Ghost Hunters

I am so happy the new season started. I can not stand GHI. The head of the group is a complete ass. I don't know what it is about him that annoys me but I just can't stand him. I only watch GHI because it fills the time until the new season of GH starts. I know there has to be other people out there that feel as I do about it.

I have to say though... my friend went to the Ghost Hunters convention here in Tampa and said it fell short of her expectations. There was a meet and greet that didn't have too much meeting or greeting. The merchandise was lacking, I had asked her to bring a shirt back for e but, she said the selection was terrible. I still have faith in the team to make a fun show but I would never pay to meet them in person.

I can't believe the second season is going to end soon. Another great show that I hope lasts for awhile. The entire cast is so entertaining!!!!! For anyone that hasn't seen this little gem, WATCH IT!!!!! Packed full of silly antics and great songs that are sure to split your sides from laughter.
Oh Bret and Jemaine you've made Sundays have meaning again. I
