Not a whole lot. My daughter's first birthday is tomorrow. I probably should have thrown her a big party with friends and family but, after I spend tons of money on food and decorations I figure that money can go towards nicer things for her. Besides I'm not too sure many people (family) remember it's her birthday. I hate reminding people it's almost like begging for a gift. At least my brother and his family sent a gift without being told. Oh well, when she gets older she can have parties and sleepovers. Maybe she won't be as antisocial and I am. Anyhoo, thanks for reading.
You know what? I had the big party for both my kids and it was a heck of a lot of work, anxiety for me and just a big headache! Now that I have already done it, I can tell you that she will never know or remember either way. She will love just having your attention and her hands in teh birthday cake I am sure! :) sometimes its the quiet moments that are best! laura
